Province of the Most Pure Heart of Mary
We are a part of the Province of the Most Pure Heart of Mary, one of two Provinces in North America. Our sister Province is the Province of St. Elias.
Visit the Province’s Facebook Page for Lectio Divina Posts and inspirational Carmelite Memes.
Visit our provincial Lay Carmelite Office pages often for News and Events as well as for the Scapular Shop, a list of communities and Lay Carmelite FAQ.
This is the mission statement for our province:
“The Carmelites of the Province of the Most Pure Heart of Mary (PCM), in allegiance to Jesus Christ, live in a prophetic and contemplative stance of prayer, common life, and service. Inspired by Elijah and Mary and informed by the Carmelite Rule, we give witness to an eight-hundred year old tradition of spiritual transformation in the United States, Canada, Peru, Mexico, and El Salvador.”
